Services
Preparation, Sampling and Processing
Eight capabilities, operated under one roof and one chain of custody. Each stage is documented, referenced and reconcilable against your own assay.

Carbon Processing
Spent carbon is auger sampled sack by sack, blended, split and treated — with every stage monitored for mercury.

Slag Processing
Slag, crucibles and furnace linings crushed, split and screened in house, then evaluated for metal content and deleterious elements.

Induction Melting
Five furnaces up to 150 kilowatt and 750 lb capacity, sampled by vacuum pin tube in the melt or drilled after the pour.

Incineration
A fluidized bed reactor reduces carbon volume for recovery, with multi-stage scrubbing of the exhaust for mercury.

Sampling & Weighing
Nine platform scales, calibrated twice yearly by an independent company, with a reference number assigned on receipt.

Milling & Screening
Jaw crusher to half inch, then a rubber lined vibratory ball mill to minus 60 mesh and a Sweco vibratory screen.

Internal Laboratory
In-house fire assay plus AA, two ICP instruments and XRF for deleterious elements, cyanide and mercury.

Between 2017 and 2022 the spent carbon we processed produced 1,455 tons of water, all of it treated in house. Just Refiners remains a zero-discharge facility.
